A Crime and Law Drop Down Day Pack - A set of 6 lessons to cover a Citizenship / PSHE Drop Down Day (6 hours) which could be use with either KS3 or KS4 as an off time-table day for the end of term. A Diversity Drop Down Day Pack - A set of 6 lessons to cover a Citizenship / PSHE Drop Down Day (6 hours) which could be use with either KS3 or KS4 as an off time-table day for the end of term. These lessons have been put together for a Drop Down Day as they all follow the theme of abusive relationships, but could easily be used as a short PSHE unit instead, or even in Tutor Time. **Included: ** What are coercive and controlling relationships? A two hour, fully-resourced PSHE lesson all about making responsible personal hygiene and health choices. This lesson covers vaccinations, blood and organ donation, stem cell research and personal hygiene. Students will investigate the importance of all of these factors for both preventing the spread of disease and treating illnesses in others. They will also exam the moral implications behind ideas such as stem cell research and learn a bit about the science behind these too (although this is not a science lesson, it is a PSHE lesson). The lesson includes a 2 hour detailed PowerPoint, information sheets, differentiated challenge activities and worksheets, clips tasks with questions, literacy tasks and case study tasks. These resources have been designed to be engaging, detailed and easy to follow. This is a recent addition to the Complete Year 9 PSHE Pack, which has been added to help consolidate a ‘spiral curriculum’ in student learning - as suggested by the PSHE Association for the 2020 Guidelines. If you already have the Complete Year 9 Pack, or Complete KS3 PSHE Pack, you’ll find this added in the ‘Future Ready’ download as an additional extra (just redownload to get it for free).
